For the Parents!

Hi and Welcome to Cubbies! 

    We are so happy to be a part of Cubbies and to be teaching your children.  They are all so full of energy and life; it really is a blessing to teach them.  In this section we are just giving some basic information for our club as well as where you can find further information from Awana.

Book, Bags and Vests:   Please don’t let the costs of the books and vest keep you from letting your child attend Awana, talk with one of us.

·    Books are $7.00 each, every child must one.

·    Vests are $8.65 each; every child must have one in order to receive their awards.

·     Bags are $5.50 these are optional, used for carrying books and activities done at club.

Cubbie Book:  Your child will receive a book.  Your child can earn patches for their vest and stickers for their book by completing each bear hug.  The Bear Hugs are designed for the parent and child to enjoy doing an activity and learning a Bible verse together.  For a Bear Hug to be complete the parent must review the verse with their child and sign the bear hug.  Please see the schedule to see what Bear Hug(s) we will be doing that week at club.  All children will work on the same Bear Hug(s) each week.  If your child misses a week they can make it up at the next meeting. 

Under the Apple Tree:  This section of the book is optional.  There is a place in the Cubbie class room for all the under the apple tree projects, so please check back often to see all the new projects.  Each week your child completes an Under the Apple Tree they will receive a stamp in their book and a stamp on their hand.  If your child completes all of the Under the Apple Tree sections they will be given an award at the end of the year.
